THE MEETING WITH SHANE && SHANE:

Ok, this would be a very long entry if i don't shorten it, and to make it even less stressful to read, i'm even gonna add pictures to how the story went along, so follow along!

Everyone that went to FRESH 2005 yesterday, just give some props to shane and shane, they were awesome! And everyone who went yesterday should know that they weren't signing autographs and they were no where to find after the event, how did i meet him??

First, Brian and I run to the place where they were signing autographs and we saw David Crowder sitting there, and that's it. Sorry to say, but we were dissappointed. Not that i don't like David Crowder, but COME ON! WHERE's SHANE?? I was determined to meet them yesterday, so every staffer that we saw we asked them where we could find shane && shane, and none of them knew. So we went back to the auditorium to see if he was there, but he wasn't there. Then we asked Jason Solley, the electric player from DBC, and of course, we had to get his autograph first, but he rarely replied, kinda gave us an attitude. Oh well, we had no luck in the auditorium, so we decided to go out to the back where they were loading equipment. We saw trailers and cars parked there, and people moving stuff, so we went to go ask, that's when we found out which trailer was shane && shanes:

but the guy next to me advised me not go to knock. So instead, we asked if we could help them load stuff, while we were waiting for them to come back or come out.

But even after moving stuff, we found no luck. Then, the small car right beside the big trailer had people in it, and i tihnk it was David Crowder's bass player that we talked too, but i didn't even greet him, i just asked if that was shane's trailer. And he was really nice, he told me to knock. When i was scared, he's just like, i would do it. Haha, so cool. So i did, but no one was there. Then, we met DBC's drummer, Jeremy:

He was soo nice! He told us that shane might be inside chilling or something, and we chatted for a bit, and then we ran back in to see if he was there, but we got stopped by this guy:

Oscar was his name, he was the security guard. He asked us what we were doing here, and i was like, "PLEASE LET ME SEE SHANE && SHANE!!" haha, he was nice enough to let us in, and we went in asking around. We talked to Robbie Seay:

And he was really nice too. But he also didn't know where shane was. So we pretty much gave up at this point, running in and out of LA convention center, so we decided to write him a note. I picked up a program and wrote him this long note (i'll take a picture of it and post it later), and we go back to his trailer to leave it at the door, and THEY WERE IN IT! I ran as fast as i could and knocked on the door. Shane Everett saw me and i immediately started begging him to come out through the door. So he steps out, and DOOD, they were so nice! Shane Everett tells us that Shane Barnard's not feeling well, and he's not suppose to talk, so i ask him, can i go in and give him a big hug??  So Shane E. goes in, and they both come out! They were fricken nice! I got my liscense signed, and a dollar bill (which i gave to the person that would appreciate it the most, Brian Tsui), and we talked to them for so long. It was soo tite! It wasn't untill later i found out that Shane Barnard was growing nodules in his throat, and it's not looking good, so the people who are reading this, PRAY FOR HIM! He has a jammed pack schedule and he needs to rest his voice! Anyway, afterwards, shane E. was even nice enough to walk us back to the auditorium. THEY ARE AWESOME!

There's Emily and Them, throughout the whole time, i was so gonna give up, cuz if u know me, u know that i definitely don't do these kind of things, i'm too shy. But Emily kept encouraging me and forcing me to ask people and talk to people! Thanks so much!! If it weren't for you, i would have never had this chance to meet them! You're the best!

All the rest of my pictures are here:

Go and check it out if you want. Also, during the concert, we were shouting "Eagle! Eagle" to them, it was so tite! Haha, if you don't know what it means, and you want to, LET ME KNOW! You will regret missing out on this, haha.

Some other things that happened during the concert:
- GIVE PROPS TO JUSTIN CHIEN and the people who camped out the night before, we got 2ND, 3RD, and 4TH ROW SEATING! It was crazy! They were sooo close! HELLA SICK! The 9 people who stayed over even got to go on stage. Haha, tite.
-David crowder looked like the devil with the light and his hair, hahah, just a random thought.

Hahaha, i just have to write about my day yesterday. Yesterday was like the worst day to take a midterm. Why? Well, here's how it started...:

So i woke up,  knowing that even though i have a midterm at 11:00, i'd still have to go to my 9:30 class because it's my midterm review for my thursday's midterm. That sucked. so i biked to class. When i left my room, it was barely raining. it rainted in the morning, but it sorta stoped, so i thoguht, in that short amount of time of me biking to class, it shouldn't be bad. But about half way, rain started pouring and pouring and pouring. So i got all wet, and got there. I was gonna park my bike outside of phelps bike parking lot, but i though since it's raining, i'll try leaving my bike on the side of phelps where there's shade covering it, it shouldn't be too bad.  I then walk in to class. Got my homework back and found out that the teacher graded one of my problems wrnog, so i had to take care of that today. Then, as i walked out of class, i found a "YOUR BIKE IS PARKED ILLEGALLY" sign on my bike. Good thing it didn't get inpounded or anything.

I was beginning to think it was gonna be a bad day, untill i walked in my physics class ready to take the midterm (Which i felt pretty prepared for). "Oh crap!" i thought, as i saw that everyone had a blue book on thier desk. Why would we ever need a blue book for a physics exam!? I had no idea we needed one, so i went up to the TA, and told him. He's like "Well, talk to the professor." So i'm like, ok.......wait a second, i dunno what the professor looks like!!!! I've never been to lectures!! I've always studied physics on my own!! So i'm sitting on the first row, i "whisper" to my friend sitting in the 5th row "PSSS, Which one's the professsor? Is he here yet?" Feeling embarrased enough, the professor finally walks in, and i tell him. He gets all mad, "It's ur own problem! I said like 5 times to bring a blue book!" (sorry, professor, i never was in class... =/ ) So i get hooked up with a blue book by Dean (my roomate's friend), whew, life saver! But in the middle of my midterm, i'm like "OH SHOOT!" again! I forgot to bring my ID! They check it when we turn in the midterm!! hahahaha, such a bad day to take a midterm. But i ended up being able to show him the "wrongly graded" homework assignment to prove that I'm me.

I guess the good news is, i think i did well on the physics midterm. Hahahaha, what a day!
